New versions of XenData software can be used by any customer who had a valid maintenance agreement in place with XenData on the date the new version was released.

Check to ensure that your hardware and operating system meet the minimum requirements for the new versions.

To upgrade from a previous version of XenData Archive Series simply uninstall the current software using Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel and reboot. Then install the new version as follows: 

• Run the installation program for the new version and follow the instructions provided by the setup wizard accepting defaults.

• Reboot the server.

System configuration and license information will be maintained from the previous version.
