The MX64 Edition of XenData Archive Series software is optimized for very large digital video archives, meeting the most demanding requirements of the broadcast industry. It runs on a multiple server system configuration and manages one or more data tape libraries and magnetic disk cache to create a highly scalable digital archive.

Nearline data tape and any offline tape cartridges are presented as a single logical Windows file system. Files are written to and retrieved from the archive as though from a standard magnetic disk share, making for easy integration and deployment. Video files are transferred to and from the archive over the network at many times real-time. The archive is suitable for applications that require multiple terabytes of file transfers per day.
