Supported Drives

The Breece Hill iStoRA is a 4U rack mount unit that supports LTO formats. 

Minimum Supported Firmware Level

The minimum supported firmware levels are shown in the following table.  If the firmware in your unit is at a lower level that this, please contact your library support organization for an upgrade.

Supported by XenData Versions

The Breece Hill iStoRA is not supported by Archive Series versions higher than 4.00P2.

Medium Changer Device Driver Installation

Please use the XenData device driver with these units.  To install the XenData device driver

1. Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Manage'

2. Select 'Device Manager' from the left pane and select 'Unknown Medium Changer' in 'Medium Changers' from the right pane.

3. Double click on the device and select the 'Driver'' tab.

4. Click 'update driver' to launch the driver update wizard, then click 'Next' and select 'search for a suitable driver' and again click 'Next'. Then select 'specify a location' and uncheck all other options and click 'next'.

5. Click 'Browse' then navigate to folder <boot drive>\Program Files\XenData\Drivers then open the subdirectory appropriate to your operating system. Finally, select XenMC.inf, click 'Open', 'OK', then 'Next' and finally 'Finish' to complete the installation of the device driver.
