Qualstar XLS Library-specific information
Supported Drives
The Qualstar XLS libraries support LTO formats.
Minimum Supported Firmware Level and Device Driver Version
The XLS range was certified using firmware 2951 and Qualstar
medium changer device driver 2.0.0.6 dated 29 March 2007. If
you have lower levels than this, please contact your library support organization
for an upgrade.
Medium Changer Device Driver Installation
The choice of device driver depends on the operating system in use, as follows:

To install:

Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Manage'

Select 'Device Manager' from the left pane and select
'Unknown
Medium Changer' from the right pane.

Right-click on the Device and select
'Update Driver'. Click 'update driver' to launch the driver update
wizard.

When prompted 'Can Windows connect to
Windows Update to search for Software?', select
'No, not at this time' and
then click 'Next.'

When prompted 'What do you want the
wizard to do? 'Select 'Install from a list or
specific location (Advanced)'
and then click 'Next.'

Choose the 'Don't
search. I will choose the driver to install'
option and then click 'Next.'

Click 'Have
Disk' and Browse to or enter the path
to the Qualstar provided device driver and
then select it and follow instructions to complete the
installation.
